The Calibration & Performance Engineer develops application-level calibrations for spark-ignited internal combustion engines (ICEs) on conventional and alternative fuels. This would include operating and testing engines in-laboratory and in-vehicle or equipment, analyzing data, and manipulating control systems to optimize the performance of the engine and system. The position involves the development of base engine performance and emissions calibrations, and at times may require supporting application-level calibrations. The position also entails supporting various degrees of engine testing and supporting engineering teams with mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical component selection, control system development, and combustion and performance development activities

The Test Engineer is responsible for overseeing and conducting Performance & Emissions (P&E) and component level testing activities on Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs). This position will involve coordinating and working with the technical staff and outside testing resources to support P&E test activities often associate with product development, product verification, and continuous improvement of ICE products.
